Name: My real name is Layla, but online I go by Layla/ Laylabird/ Bird (you know, like a ladybird :p). I like my name (Layla) because it means 'night'. The night is my favourite time of day because it is quiet, and there are no expectations put on you. I also just love dreaming. And I love ladybirds. My favourite ladybird is the 22 spotted ladybird because 22 is my favourite number, and they are yellow, which is my favourite colour ⭐

I am currently studying zoology at university in an attempt to avoid the real world. The reason I decided to create my own website is because social media stresses me out so much and I hate wasting so much time scrolling, but I still wanted a way to express myself online. I hope for my site to be an ongoing project for me, and that I can hopefully build something I can be proud of! I was in need another hobby because university life can be a little isolating sometimes, but now I can spend my free time learning how to code. My main personal goal right now in life is to always try my best to be kind, authentic, passionate and creative :)
